1.
Nature morte 04:09
I look Though a veil clouds my sight Pretend to hear Though clay fills my ears Ramble Free from where The path is blunt The drifted fall through Only an angel can turn against God Playing with shadows Disturbed by a bleak thought. What to seek? When the vision is blind A helpless shadow Bearing the scorns of time Hear me See me Free me I am escapeless I am You
2.
Slumbering matter Dissolving into mind and spirit Coiling the tethering rope The expression of a thought Can’t afford to wait forever Surrender and embrace the infinity Adrift in illusions Unfathomable mystery Closest in our soul A madness An illusion A shadow A story A dream And decay
3.
Amaurosis 03:11
The light Masks the lie The eye Betrays the blind The flock Relinquishes life The wrath Finds the sky A gaze at god With shattered eyes The tide stole a piece of me The ghost who sold the world draws near Fire, come slow. Confide my tears
4.
Can you hear it? Silence from afar Distorting into cries Stabbing the great dark It comes through In the chasm of wonder Discovery and escape Swallow the dawn Abiding artifact and dream Twining feverous grounds Stepping outside time As the river keeps to flow Like soaring fire The vigil that hides behind the sun Trapped in round An edged soul An abandoned child Threading leaves in the water Carrying waves the grave Why?

about

"Inspired by personal struggles, trauma, exile, and the safe space found in sci-fi literature, the album explores wonder, solitude, and disillusionment. Thematically, this is a psychological record. The existential themes are metaphors for the process of leaving one’s own homeland, failing to adapt, and making someone else your home to then yearn for salvation. The music travels from bleak cacophony to comforting melodies played on the cello, with warm, sorrowful tones that take you on an individual journey in a timeless space. A soul-searching amalgamation of chaos and beauty that unfold an atmosphere and pace that allows for the coexistence of tranquility and despair."
