about
This song has moods that travel from progressive synths to black metal. Inspired in the safe spaces of sci-fi literature, it explores feelings loneliness and disillusionment. Existence is at first regarded as a miracle but, after living through trauma in solitude, we fall colonized by hopelessness and desolation. In a vulnerable position, challenged by a cosmic feeling of loneliness we run into despair, and question our own sanity. A reaction to a world with no justice.
lyrics
Can you hear it?
Silence from afar
Distorting into cries
Stabbing the great dark
It comes through
In the chasm of wonder
Discovery and escape
Swallow the dawn
Abiding artifact and dream
Twining feverous grounds
Stepping outside time
As the river keeps to flow
Like soaring fire
The vigil that hides behind the sun
Trapped in round
An edged soul
An abandoned child
Threading leaves in the water
Carrying waves the grave

German Psychedelic Doom Metal. This is a total debut & it is simply divine! The combination of female vocals with sax & doom is just too much for me... I fall in love over & over again with every song... :) Then I hit repeat! I am very excited about where these talented guys will go next! Love the cover too! Highly recommended!!! bmurator

An emotive and moody work, guiding us to reflect upon our relationship with our irreplaceable home Earth, as much a part of us as the flesh on our bones. As other note, this album is an expert blend of stoner, doom, and post-metal, flowing through, from, and between each effortlessly and in a smooth songwriting experience, rather than patchy and slapdash. Windhand, Electric Wizard, and Cult of Luna shake hands around the nighttime bonfire. pinkytheent
